WHY USE SELF STORAGE?

People use self storage for many reasons. For most people self storage is the solution to the problem of not having enough space to keep all the things people need or want to keep. If you are being relocated to another state or country for a year and want to rent out your house unfurnished, self storage is a great solution to the problem of what to do with your furniture in the meantime. If son or daughter moves out but all their accumulated possessions don't necessarily follow them, again self storage comes to your rescue! WHAT CAN I STORE?

If it can be moved, it can usually be stored. Just use good common sense and remember that our units are not heated or cooled. Furniture, books, files, some building materials, commercial stock - just about anything from a few boxes to a full house of furniture. Items, which do not meet requirements for safety are not, permitted into storage, such as flammables, hazardous materials etc, and your lease lists these in detail. Check with management if you are in doubt about any item.

HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED?

Because everybody is different we offer a variety of individual space sizes. Management can generally help you work out the best size for you. Things to take into consideration are - how accessible do you want the goods to be? How often will I need to access the space? What do I want to use the space for? All these issues will affect the amount of space that is ideal for you. Always discuss your needs with the management, as they may be able to suggest ways of utilizing your space better.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

What you pay for depends on the size of the space you need. We offer a range of convenient payment methods, including monthly, quarterly, and annually. We also accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express and will automatically charge your card if you like. For those who prefer to pay by check, money order or cash, we invoice monthly.

WHAT ABOUT INSURANCE?

While your goods are in self storage they are NOT COVERED by the owner of the center for loss or damage. Fox Self Storage strongly recommends that ALL customers contact their insurance agent to determine the coverage needed to protect your belongings.

WHAT IF I HAVE A HOUSEHOLD CONTENTS POLICY OR OTHER INSURANCE COVERAGE?

Don't assume ANY EXISTING policy will automatically cover your goods in self storage, ask the insurance company and find out whether your existing policy is suitable for covering your goods in self storage.

WILL MY GOODS BE SAFE?

Unfortunately there are no guarantees in today's world and incidents of accidental or deliberate nature are an unfortunate fact of life. Insurance is strongly recommended.
Insurance varies greatly from state to state. Also, policies of individual insurance carriers vary. PLEASE check with you agent to insure that you are protected.
